More New Zealand Touring

It’s been a fun filled couple of weeks with friends and car camping –  a few hikes thrown in when possible.

   They farm the Elk down here (calling them “Wapiti”).  They sure are beautiful!

 

So here I am now in Hokitika waiting for the Wild Food Festival which starts tomorrow.   I have a place to camp which is within walking distance to the festivities!   I might have to drink lots of beer to wash down some of these wild foods!
